I bought my ps3 to play oblivion GOTY Edtion I have restarted this and have completed it and spent 245+ hours with all but 2 quests with all weapons etc I love this game the levelling weapons,QuestsHorses to move and my personel fave is the knights of the 9 expansion pack.Only downside is the game does crash quite a lot so make sure to save a lot. They defentlty need more voice actors as I think there is only 6 and hopefully Elder Scrolls 5 skyrim (11/11/2011) will sort these issues and your charector will speak fingers crossed.I also dont like the way fallout 3 is compared to this as that is now way as detailed or good as this.I have started this game again and am now 45 hours in playing as a mage and using mace 2.I cant wait for Es5 in november hopefully will be even better.

You may need to mention that Oblivion for PS3 or Xbox is faulty. 60 hrs of gameplay? You have even scratched the surface of Oblivion. You can easily play hundreds of hours gameplay if you want to squeeze everything thing Oblivion has to offer not to mention anything you can think of. BUT, there's a bug present in game that after you reach around 459 hours of gameplay, the game glitches out and becomes unplayable. Which means you lose everything you've played and worked to get in those 459 hrs. All the money, completed quests, treasure and character leveling (which when done to it's max, can take almost half the allotted time) is gone.
It pisses me off that Oblivion got rave reviews and sold tons of games and lived up to it's hype as a "system seller" and then this knife in the back from Bethesda. I understand why everyone loved it because nobody had played that far in the game to encounter the "A-Bomb" bug (as it's now known to be called). But now lots of gamers are complaining about it and I haven't heard anything in the mainstream gaming media...magazines, online or TV.
I contacted Bethesda about and they said they can't do anything about it. And it seems they don't plan on trying either. And why not? They made their money. I loved Oblivion and spent a lot of money and put in a lot of time in this game, as did so many other gamers, only to have this game crash and burn. I haven't purchased anything from Bethesda since and after this whole debacle I haven't been doing any gaming, buying or playing, for over a year.
