Well I have to give this game the exact opposite review. It was an alright RPG for the 90's linear style but don't expect to make your own path in the world. Game play was sub-par with not enough options or challenge. This was an easy game to beat in > 20 hours. Disappointed? VERY. If the game was set in a true open world (not worthless loading screens going from zone to zone) I may have had a few nicer things to say about it.

Brilliant game indeed. There´s a couple of things not in my taste however. One being the "lack of freedom". I might just be an old nerd but it annoys me a great deal that everything is so tied up in the storyline. There´s simply no option of taking a trip into the wilds to gather herbs, or to "grind" mobs to gain levels.
But it´s a good game. Real nice story and good graphics.

I would recommend anyone to set difficulty to normal+ cause if you don´t then there will be no friendly fire and without friendly fire it´s a quite easy game!

The level-cap without the expansion is 25. I´ve played roughly 60 hours and I am level 15 or 16 now. If you get tired of the constant "bla bla" and you just wanna fight then use the square key to skip the videos :P

Anyway it´s a good game but there is many things missing in my oppinion. Also be aware that the game often uses the autosave function but apparently that does NOT mean it saves your game ( atleast not every time ;( ).

Thanks for the inspiration. Don´t regret buying the game!
